The Sommarovina vineyard – Cru | Sondrio, in Valtellina. Mamete Prevostini’s first vineyard, acquired in 1996. Its peculiarity is that it is located on a rocky ridge, in the area of Valtellina Superiore Sassella. The Nebbiolo vines were replanted lengthwise according to the contour ploughing technique. A stunning Nebbiolo that comes from the single Sommarovina vineyard: a universe of small red fruits, studded with delicate spices and with a reverb of minerality in the finish, which plays with softness.
- Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo
- Production area: Cru in the locality of Triasso (SO), at 400 m, in the area of Valtellina Superiore Sassella DOCG.
- Full-bodied wine.
- Maceration for 15 days, maturation in oak for 12 months and refining in bottle for 10 months.
