A hymn to the lively delicacy of Pinot Noir, the Première Cuvée Rosé is named after the single first pressing that makes it up.
A multi vintage Rosé, it is created according to the rule of blending Pinot Noir in its two forms:
- In White: pressed quickly, after the rapid separation of the juices from the skins, the Pinot Noir musts are very clear and vinified in white.
- In Red: through prolonged maceration of the juices with the skins, Pinot Noir is vinified in red, more rarely in rosé.
Blending
- First pressing of a majority of Pinot Noir and presence of Chardonnay in a secret proportion.
- Reserve wines 25 vintage wines blended since 1985, in a proportion of up to 50%.
Ageing
3 years on the lees followed by a minimum of 5 months after disgorgement.
Dosage
Extra brut: less than 6 g/l, a very pure wine.
